The organization is seeking an HR SYSTEMS COORDINATOR to support the ongoing effectiveness of its HR systems and people-related processes. Reporting to the corporate HR team, this role focuses on maintaining HR system functionality, supporting HR workflows, and assisting with core HR administration.
This position is well-suited to a junior to intermediate professional who enjoys working at the intersection of HR operations and systems, and who is interested in contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HRIS operations, including workflows, approvals, and data integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve HR system issues, providing user support where required
- Assist with system configuration, maintenance, and HR-related reporting
- Support HR administration such as employee forms, offer letters, and onboarding documentation
- Maintain system and process documentation
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and automation
- Collaborate with HR and internal stakeholders to ensure systems align with business needs
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in an HRIS, HR Coordinator, HR Operations, or related role
- Strong understanding of HR workflows and employee lifecycle processes
- Experience working with an HRIS or HCM platform (Dayforce or similar systems considered an asset)
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and problem-solve effectively
- HR diploma or equivalent practical experience; CHRP designation is not required
- Strong problem-solving skills are a key success factor for this role.
- Exposure to process improvement, automation, or system optimization is highly valued
- Industry background is flexible; experience in construction, infrastructure, or safety-driven environments is a plus
