"Our international client has an urgent requirement for SIX (6) OFFSHORE INSTRUMENT TECHNICIANS with Offshore Oil and Gas Industry experience to join the CORAL OFFSHORE PROJECT based in MOZAMBIQUE."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• To safely perform work assignment of program plans and corrective maintenance of instrumentation including calibration, installation, repairs, testing and commissioning of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronics and digital field instrumentation in Company starting from the inlet facilities up to the sales points
QUALFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Degree/Diploma qualification.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in maintenance work in the oil and gas sector, with particular expertise in process control related field instrumentation.
• Knowledge in Distributed and Control System, Emergency Shutdown Systems, gas turbine control instrumentation Speedtronics, compressor anti-surge control system, vibration systems, Triconex programmable logic controller, burner management system and other stand-alone PLC systems.
• Good knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic and digital instrumentation system.
• An understanding of sequence logic control and plus and real-time computer programming techniques.
• Able to Read and understand P&I Diagram, Functional/ Ladder Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect diagrams, Process flow diagrams, loop diagrams.
• Valid BOSIET / STCW certifications
• International experience in Africa, Brazil is a plus.
• Experience with Total, SHELL, Saipem, SONANGOL, BP is preferable.
