"TRS is looking for BOSIET certified Jack Up Chief Electrician with Jack Up / Platforms and Drill Ship or Semi sub offshore experience with independent or major Oil and Gas companies to be based Worldwide for upcoming projects within the next six (6) months."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Jack Up/Platforms experience required.
- Oversees maintenance of all on board electrical systems and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as company standards.
- Manage activities being conducted by his/her electrical and maintenance staff.
- Needs to keep the Rig Management informed of any situations that require immediate health, safety and welfare actions.
- Participates in pre-tour and tool-box meetings with all team members.
- Complies fully with all QHSE requirements, policies and standards, and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Completes formal training sessions on QHSE and technical subjects.
- Obtains all required certifications.
- Maintains all equipment in good, safe working order and reports any problems or deviations.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment on the rig and the camp.
- Is fully familiar with preventive maintenance programs.
- Writes analytical reports.
- Participates in QHSE audits.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have Jack Up / Platforms experience.
- Valid OPITO approved BOSIET or OSIET/HUET/THUET/FOET
- Recognized and accredited 3 year Diploma or 4 year Bachelor Degree.
- 10 - 15 years recent proven or similar related working experience.
- Offshore Drillship/Semi Submersible experience required.
- Has the required proficiency level for the position based on the company competency catalog
- PLC experience, programming, trouble-shooting problems, etc. – Siemens PLC, etc.
- AC VFD experience.
- Control system experience.
- Offshore COC.
- Sea Services Certificate.
