Lead Developer

TRS is excited to be working with a national Utilities company to help them search for a Lead Developer. This great opportunity is a 12 month contract starting as soon as possible.
Their Business & Operational Support department is responsible for providing technical support to Business Energy. They provide support for existing applications, manage the testing and rollout of all new applications and releases, and respond to business requirements for change using rapid application development tools (primarily C# .Net, SQL, MS Access and MS Excel).

The successful candidate will:
• Respond to a high demand of support requests from the business area
• Will take a lead role in the design and development of solutions using a variety of software
• You will also be expected to assist in the development of MIS reports from a variety of systems
• Plan and manage tasks to meet deadlines
• Responsible for ensuring that all challenges are effectively resolved
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost drivers
• Improve efficiency
• Improve customer service within the process

Must have:
• Good knowledge of C# .Net, MS Access, MS Excel, SQL Programming/Server
• Prior knowledge of the energy industry
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• High attention to detail
