Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Lead Structural Engineer to lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to quickly identify high-level challenges and implement effective solutions, with a strong understanding of the associated cost and schedule implications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil, and MEP engineers.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Lead internal and external design reviews and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Proficient in structural analysis and design software.
- Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with seismic and wind load analysis.
- Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures.
- Familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Tekla Structures).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
