Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Lead Structural Engineer to lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to quickly identify high-level challenges and implement effective solutions, with a strong understanding of the associated cost and schedule implications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil, and MEP engineers.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
  • Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Lead internal and external design reviews and client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software.
  • Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with seismic and wind load analysis.
  • Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures.
  • Familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Tekla Structures).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
