The QA/QC Lead will oversee quality management across these critical plant areas, ensuring compliance with international standards and driving continuous improvement in project execution. We are urgently seeking experienced QA/QC Lead for a 45‑calendar‑day assignment on a major Steel Pelletizing Plant project in the Middle East.
Job Responsibilities:
- This high‑intensity project involves key areas of the Grate‑Kiln pelletizing process, including:
- Travelling Grate (TG) – dries and preheats green pellets before induration.
- Rotary Kiln (RK) – performs high‑temperature pellet firing for uniform quality.
- Annular Cooler (AC) – cools hot pellets and recovers heat for improved efficiency.
- Lead and mentor QA/QC teams across multiple industrial service disciplines.
- Develop and enforce quality management systems tailored to insulation, fire protection, electromechanical, and surface treatment projects.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and testing to ensure compliance with ISO and industry-specific standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, reporting findings to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations in all QA/QC activities.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in QA/QC leadership within industrial services, construction, or energy sectors.
- Hands-on experience in steel pelletizing plants, with exposure to critical areas such as Annular Cooler (AC), Rotary Kiln (RK), Travelling Grate (TG), and Cyclones.
- Strong knowledge of refractory materials, installation, and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with inspection tools, testing methodologies, and documentation practices.
