Job Details
An excellent opportunity to work for one of the World’s most admired EPC oil and gas MNC’s company based in their India office in the Noida (Open to relocate at any site). They are dealing in EPC oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical and fertilizer projects.
The right candidate will speak fluent English, have the right to work in the India and have a minimum of 11 + years’ experience in Subcontract and construction management.
Brief Description
Subcontract Engineer and Lead Subcontract Engineer Should be from MNC’s in Construction and Engineering of EPC/ Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Refinery industry. Should be individual contributor.
The major responsibilities are:
• Award of Construction Subcontracts as per company procedure with the Quality, HSE, cost and schedule requirements
• Post award Subcontract Administration
• Support for Construction Cost Estimation during proposal Stage
• Subcontract Administration and Payment Processing for issued subcontract
• Change Order processing, variation and new item rate analysis etc.
• Subcontract Closures
• Shall have good knowledge of general terms and conditions of Contract of the construction industry
• Develop strategies and lead the commercial contracting negotiations for engineering & construction subcontract categories aligning to project requirements.
• Identify, develop and manage contractors; understand safety, commercial and capacity risks.
• Manage contractor relationships and maintain interface at senior level within contractors organizations.
• Should have sound know how of local India Construction contractors;
• Monitor, communicate, and respond to changing market conditions and business drivers to maximize leverage and minimize risk.
• Preparing, executing, modifying and leading commercial and construction contracts. Experience in developing, executing and managing EPC contracts is required.
• Excellent negotiation and contracting skills.
Qualifications
You must be able to demonstrate and evidence the following:
• Should be a graduate Engineer (Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) from a recognized university
• Minimum 11- 15 years of work experience in an industrial environment, working in EPC, engineering contracts and construction contracting.
• Strong influencing, communication and facilitative skills
