Are you ready to embrace a new culture while advancing your international career? Our global client in the technical industrial sector is seeking a dedicated Lead Supervisor to join their team in the Middle East. In this role, you will oversee day‑to‑day site operations, coordinate multi‑discipline teams, ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently, and maintain high standards of quality across all technical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily on-site operations, including insulation, access (scaffolding/rope), surface preparation, coating work, and related technical services, ensuring safe and compliant execution.
- Coordinate workforce activities, allocate tasks to teams, and monitor productivity to maintain workflow efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and environmental procedures across all operational areas.
- Conduct regular inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions to maintain asset protection and performance.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure operational alignment, clear communication, and timely project progress.
- Monitor material usage, equipment allocation, and resource planning to support smooth project execution.
- Support training and development of on-site personnel, reinforcing high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Prepare shift reports, incident logs, and progress documentation as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- A recognised trade certificate or technical qualification in insulation, access solutions, surface protection, passive fire protection, or electromechanical services is highly advantageous for this role.
- Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in relevant industrial fields such as insulation, coating, or painting, demonstrating strong leadership and operational oversight capabilities.
- Experience working within a pelletizing plant, with hands‑on exposure to key areas including the Annular Cooler (AC), Rotary Kiln (RK), Travelling Grate (TG), and Cyclones, as well as a solid understanding of refractory systems.
- Proven experience supervising teams in industrial, construction, marine, or energy sectors, ensuring safe and efficient work execution.
- Substantial background in large‑scale industrial environments, where stringent safety, technical precision, and operational efficiency are essential.
- Strong working knowledge of insulation practices, scaffolding/access systems, surface protection, or related technical industrial disciplines is considered an asset.
