Location: Waukesha, WI
Industry: heavy industrial metals manufacturing
Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent
Pay: $24/hr-$35/hr +
Reports to: Machining Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Rebuild and overhaul machines including complete disassembly, inspection, diagnosis and repair
- Layout and machine complicated parts involving machine set-ups and operations
- Perform skilled fitting of bearings, spindles, scrape ways and other complex alignment/fitting procedures
- Design and redesign pneumatic, hydraulic and other circuitry and related components as needed to correct machine problems
- Coordinate projects as needed, instructing and assigning work to other employees
- Completed apprenticeship in machine tool repair or similar education and experience required
- Multiple years’ experience in the repair of a wide variety of machines and machine tool equipment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Ability to undertake and complete projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check to be eligible for hire
