About the role

TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Material Planning Lead to join our esteemed clients team based in Adelaide. This position is based on a Monday to Friday full-time roster. 

Duties and responsibilities

• Lead and support the Material Planning team.

• Oversee accurate structuring and scheduling of all project materials.

• Maintain data integrity and usage of the Material Management System.

• Monitor material availability and escalate risks or shortages.

• Align engineering, procurement, and construction inputs to meet RAS dates.

• Support construction with clear material readiness and allocation.

• Validate all material data, quantities, and updates across the project.

Skills and experience required

• Strong EPC/EPCM material management experience on large‑scale projects.

• Proven leadership of planning teams, ideally across multi‑office environments.

• Solid understanding of WBS, CWP alignment, and schedule integration.

• Experience using material management systems (e.g., MatMan, SPM, ERM, BPS, IPS).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage large data sets.

• Excellent coordination and communication skills across engineering, procurement, and construction.
