About the role

TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Service Technician to join our esteemed clients team based on site. This is a position is based on a full time, Monday to Friday roster with regular, planned ad hoc travel to site each week.    

Duties and responsibilities

• Carry out equipment servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs.

• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.

• Provide customer support and basic on‑site training.

• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.

• Assist with parts, materials, and general office support when needed.

• Work across WA sites with regular scheduled travel.

Skills and experience required

• Relevant trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.

• At least 3 years’ experience in service or field‑based maintenance work.

• Strong fault‑finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems.

• Good communication, customer service, and ability to work independently.

• Solid computer skills and a current driver’s licence.
