Material Receiving-Material Issuing Coordinator

Here is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an extensive project in Kitimat British Columbia as a Material Receiving – Material Issuing Coordinator! The successful candidate will be working within a leading EPCM/ Construction Firm that takes pride in completing large-scale global projects. This opportunity follows a 14/7 rotation schedule, with beautiful, executive accommodations and has potential for longevity.

Working as a team member of Field Material Management, the successful candidate will oversee the receipt of materials, issuance of materials, material laydown areas and warehousing operations at an active construction site. This individual should have the skillset properly maintain inventory counts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The successful candidate should also be able to maintain, track and use existing reports to support inbound equipment-material shipments, shipment damage inspections, off-loading, laydown area storage, warehouse pallet racking storage, until required later to be transferred for installation.

Job Duties:
- Observation of trends and tracking of inbound equipment-materials shipments
- Working in coordination with buyers, expeditors, material planning-material
control, logistics and management
- Strong ability to effectively prepare and manage a multitude of different reports
and reports related to the project
- Building good relationships with different suppliers

Qualifications:
- 4-year accredited degree is preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient computer and software skills in word processing, email, spreadsheets and
electronic presentation programs
- Working understanding of warehousing and laydown management and
functionality as well as a strong materials management background
- Ability to work in a time-conscious manner and experience with lump sum projects
