MCPlus Database Lead

Here is a new and engaging opportunity to be a part of a mega EPCM project in beautiful Kitimat, British Columbia as a MCPlus Database Lead! The qualified candidate will be working toward a common goal amongst likeminded professionals within a leading construction/ EPCM firm with projects worldwide. This opportunity follows a 14/7 rotation schedule, includes executive accommodations and has a potential for longevity on a leading project.

Reporting to the Completions and Turnover Manager the successful candidate will be involved in the setup, implementation and administration of the MCPlus database as well as working with engineers and construction contractors to populate the database. The MCPlus Database lead should be proficient in the database set up for medium to largescale projects and the ongoing maintenance of completions database architecture.

Job Duties:
- Development of a set of instructions to manage updates to the MCPlus due to design change as well as the development of plans, procedures and instructions to manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Completions database
- Revision of contracts and subcontracts to understand requirements and deliverables as they relate to database management and system completion
- Manage the overall integrity of information flowing between; Engineering, Construction, Contractor, Vendors, Commissioning and the MCPlus database
- Understanding the current capabilities of automation tools and ensuring that they are being utilized to the full benefit of the department and project

Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in completions database management
- Technical or Engineering degree or relevant work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
programs
- Ability to build effective relationships with Client, Engineering,
Construction, and Vendor personnel
