Mechanical Engineer

The Opportunity

Our client, an industry leader in the energy sector is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities
The individual we are seeking with have knowledge of the fabrication of pressure vessels, shell & tube heat exchangers, boiler alterations, furnace alterations, pipe spool take offs, and plant equipment or fittings. You will be client facing with the ability to interact with Engineers, IT and Estimation teams
.
You will have previous experience working in refinery, petrochemical and/or heavy oil industries that included thermal and mechanical operations, heat exchangers, and vibration analysis. You will have strong mathematical skills, strong analytics and attention to detail; design skills in FEA (ANSYS, Paulin research FE/Pipe, Algor etc.), in depth knowledge of ASME Code VIII Div1and additional code software is highly desired.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Engineering degree (P.Eng) is a must
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook and Primavera
