The role will see you lead the delivery of the HVDC control, HV/Substation SCADA, WTG SCADA, auxiliary SCADA systems and Communication Systems during its Development and Construction phases.
Responsibilities:
• Define and develop Technical Specifications
• Evaluate and challenge design concepts made by Contractors and Suppliers and ensure compliance with contract requirements
• Technical issue resolution through design, manufacture, installation and commissioning
• Manage relevant external engineering consultancy contracts
• Interface with all Associated Works Contractors in order to both provide and receive information pertinent to the design, construction and installation of the Offshore Wind Farm.
• Review Contractors Quality and Acceptance Tests and ensure that they are performed to specification and documented (FAT and SAT)
• Witness Supplier Commissioning Activities and review their results
• Identification of lessons learnt as well as elaboration and coordination of the implementation of improvement proposals
• Ensure HSE&S considerations are fundamental inputs to the design process and are documented
Other Requirements
• University Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical or engineering discipline
• Strong Knowledge about Offshore SCADA and Communications technical requirements
• Extensive Experience in HV and WTG SCADA systems and its infrastructure
• Knowledge or experience in HVDC control is a plus
• Experience in control systems, automation, SCADA, PLC's, RTU's and IED's
• Experience in CCTV
• Experience in site communication (LAN and WAN design)
• Experience with grid code and its compliance process
• Extensive experience in Industrial Communication Protocols (especially IEC61850, IEC104, OPC-family, Modbus and MMS) and their network specific behaviours
• Knowledge in Communication Systems commonly used in Offshore Windfarms: Tetra, VHF, 5G, WiFi, IP Telephony…
• Knowledge in SQL-Server Query and Administration
• Knowledge in Cyber Security requirements for Critical Infrastructures
• Knowledge or experience in working under CDM 2015 is a plus
