Operations Supervisor (Evening Shift)

Our client, a leading supplier in North America for engineered steel products is looking for an Operations Supervisor in Winnipeg, MB! The ideal candidate should have experience supervising and retaining a strong team of employees, and prioritizes compliance to all Environmental, Safety, Health and other Company policies, and requirements.

Job duties:

• Responsible for training and monitoring various employees
• Prioritize safety in using heavy equipment when processing material
• Aim to ensure that company processing goals are met or exceeded.
• Supervise repairs of small equipment
• Take part in the creation and enforcement of safety programs

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Experience in a unionized environment is an asset
• Have experience building and retaining a strong team
• Strong organization and planning skills
