DISCIPLINE: HSE
LOCATION: MOZAMBIQUE
DURATION: CONTRACT (12 MONTHS)
SALARY: 3'700 – 5’000 USD
NB: VACANCIES ARE APPLICABLE TO LOCAL SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONALS

"TRS has an urgent opportunity for an experienced Permit to Work Supervisor with petrochemical site or refinery experience to join our international client's project team based in Mozambique."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Directs and administers specific functions of the HSE program on the company or project level.
• Creates, evaluates, educates, and administers the HSE program to all levels of employees.
• Assists/conducts surveys, evaluations, inspections, and investigations of incidents and activities as directed by supervisor.
• Gathers information and data as directed by supervisor.
• Generates, calculates, and correlates data as directed.
• Refines working knowledge of HSE programs by applying HSE procedures.
• Direct and supervise the activities of subordinates when requested to do so.
• Participates in monitoring and controlling HSE standards.
• Prepares, maintains, and retrieves records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of HSE standards.
• Promotes HSE awareness and fosters this awareness throughout the company, project or office.
• Handles substance abuse programs, HSE statistics, or workers' compensation activities as directed.
• Assists in administering HSE programs on project site or in the office.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Recognized and accredited Diploma/Degree qualification.
• 10 – 15 years recent proven work experience in related field within the Petrochemical site or refinery.
• Must be registered as a Professional Safety Officer as per SACPCMP requirements.
Permit to Work Issuer.
• Qualified Gas Tester.
• Experience with Terminal/Process Operations.
