On-Site Planner - Hydrogen Gigafactory Project (Contract)
About the Role:
Our client are seeking an experienced On-Site Planner to join their team for a contract (outside IR-35) position on a groundbreaking hydrogen gigafactory project. As part of a globally leading EPC company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful on-site execution of this large-scale project.

Responsibilities:
Managing a Construction & Commissioning schedule and working closely with Construction Contractors.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project milestones.
- Monitor and track project progress against the baseline plan, identifying and proactively addressing any potential delays or risks.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives, to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Oversee the implementation of project controls systems, including progress reporting, cost tracking, and risk management.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and risk logs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize project efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning, experience on data Centre projects, pharmaceuticals, cleanroom or renewable energy sector would be ideal.
- Proven ability to develop, manage, and maintain complex project schedules using industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Excellent understanding of project controls principles, including cost estimating, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a contract role is a plus.
