Client overview:
The client is a leading infrastructure organization in India, specializing in end‑to‑end turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) solutions. With a strong legacy under the Jakson Group, the client has delivered high‑impact projects across Power Transmission, Power Distribution, Metro Electrification, Water Infrastructure, and Civil Infrastructure. Known for engineering excellence and a commitment to nation‑building, the client executes complex infrastructure developments for government, private, and international clients. Their marquee work includes projects under Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL), the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), and major Metro Electrification projects in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai.

Job Description:
  • Coordinate with project manager, architects, and engineers to integrate MEP systems with overall project plans.
  • Developed project baselines & controlled the same with respect to cost, resource deployment, time overruns & quality compliances in Primavera.
  • Initiate, prepare & develop project plans & schedules according to standards, contract specifications and accept Project Management practices in primavera.
  • Preparation, submission and getting approvals of method statements of works.
  • Establish the Schedule based on key dates, milestone dates, scope of work, resource loading etc., as specified in the contract. Assign duration, resources (Manpower,
  • Materials and Equipment’s) and budgeted cost for each activity based on their weight factor & quantity/volume of work and identify Long Lead items required in the Project.

Key responsibilities:
  • Generate detailed work plans, critical activities/path, planned/progress S-Curves, Budget Histogram/planned distribution tables, Resource Histogram/planned distribution tables etc.
  • Coordinate schedule from multiple sub-contractors / vendors and incorporate the information gathered into the overall project master schedule.
  • Develop databases for Engineering deliverables, Procurement deliverables and Construction activities for monitoring/analyzing/tracking progresses.
  • Review, analyze & refine sequence and logic of tasks/activities and highlight any critical activity needs particular attention.
  • Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities and deliverables such as products, engineering documents, fabrication status and construction of all disciplines.
  • Review of the Subcontractor’s quotation for execution stage in line with our Budget, Planned resource and profitability.
  • Follow-up with Subcontractor/ site team to monitor project progress and make reports.
  • Prepare reports & charts, i.e., daily/weekly and/or monthly reports as required by management and/or client/ Management. Support project management in accomplishing project status review and performance control.
  • Attend project progress status review meetings with client, vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Assess actual progress versus planned progress to determine trends and variances.
  • Analyze schedule trends, determining risks, developing options for corrective action and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Prepare various MIS reports as per management/ client requirement.



Required Skills and qualifications:
  • Total Experience: 8-10years
  • Metro Project Experience: Minimum of 5 years, specifically in Planning and coordination for metro or rail projects
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
