Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Sales Account Manager
Location: Metro Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire
Salary: $70,000-$100,000 DOE + Commission
Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and strategic Preventative Maintenance Sales Account Manager to expand our footprint across the Greater Metro Atlanta region. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who excels at building relationships, developing new business, and growing recurring revenue through preventative maintenance and service solutions.
You will play a critical role in expanding our PM contract base, enhancing client retention, and uncovering retrofit and small-project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Business Development

Build, manage, and grow a robust customer portfolio.

Proactively prospect and secure new business with facility managers, property managers, general contractors, and industrial clients.

Drive sales of:

Preventative maintenance (PM) agreements
-
Demand service
-
Retrofit/upgrade opportunities and small projects

Preventative Maintenance (PM) Growth Focus
-
Identify reactive service clients and convert them into long-term PM contracts.

Conduct on-site assessments to develop customized maintenance programs aligned with equipment lifecycle and performance goals.

Expand and manage a recurring maintenance contract portfolio.

Achieve strong contract renewal rates, drive upsell opportunities, and maintain long-term client relationships.
Account Management & Client Success

Serve as a trusted advisor for clients’ ongoing mechanical system needs.

Grow existing accounts through cross-selling PM, service, and project offerings.

Ensure exceptional customer service and account satisfaction.
Internal Collaboration
-
Work closely with service, estimating, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.

Facilitate smooth handoffs from sales to service/project delivery.

Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in mechanical contracting, HVAC/plumbing sales, or technical service sales.

Proven success selling preventative maintenance agreements, service contracts, or retrofit work.

Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping).

Established relationships within the Metro Atlanta commercial/industrial market.

Demonstrated success growing recurring service revenue.

Existing network with facility managers, property managers, general contractors, or industrial accounts.

Familiarity with CRM and construction management tools (Salesforce, Monday, Procore, etc.).

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Atlanta area.
