Location: Charleston, SC
Pay: $120k - $150k + yearly bonus
Type: Direct hire, full time
Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction phases, maintain schedules and project timelines of commercial construction projects
- Prepare cost estimates, perform value engineering and ensure accuracy of material costs, labor and quantity take-offs
- Solicit and analyze bids, negotiate terms and prepare bid packages for client approval
- Identify risks, ensure compliance with all regulations, codes and standards
- Maintain project documentation, provide reports on projects status, budgets and timelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field
- Five (5)+ years of preconstruction experience or similar role in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and building codes
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, presentation and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
