MAC Lead

TRS Middle East is recruiting for a Principle Process Control Engineer for a leading Refinery Operator in the Middle East for their multibillion dollar project.

Job Purpose:
To be responsible for instrumentation, control, information, and safety aspects of the project
and manage the plant automation solutions to avoid multiple interfaces, delays and
complexities to avoid cost over runs and schedule slippage for profit maximization.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
 Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
 Minimum 15 years’ experience of working on large scale (mega Projects) downstream oil
and gas projects, with at least 5 years in a DCS/ESD related leadership role within MAC or
an industry SME.
 Experience of working with a reputable Contractor executing both, EPC and PMC type
contracts is a must.
 FAT, SAT, Commissioning and Start up experience of large scale DCS/ESD systems is
mandatory.
 Brownfield and Greenfield experience on implementation of DCS/ESD systems required.
 Operational experience from a refinery or a petrochemical plant is beneficial but not
mandatory.
 Experience of working in a lump sum EPC contracting environment, preferably in the Middle
East.
