Due to growth we have an opening for Procurement Contract Analyst. The position is located in Houston’s Energy Corridor.
We are now seeking qualified candidates for the selection process. Below are some details of the position requirements:
Position Responsibilities:
- Delivers administrative support to the Corporate Procurement, Master Data and Contract Teams
- Gather documentation and route contract documents for approval and execution with all corresponding stakeholders.
- Manage contract documents in the contract management system, Livelink.
- Work on special reports or projects within the contract management system and within SAP (as needed), researches, summarizes, ensures that contracts are in compliance and analyzes information.
- Notify stakeholders about contract reviews or renewals and investigating contract problems.
- Check initial and final drafts of proposed contracts as well as setup support documentation for new and existing contracts.
- Communicate with suppliers and maintain contract files in internal contract management system.
Skills Required:
- Must have experience working with procurement contract documents including both supplier contract paper and company owned contract templates
- Keen attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to catch and rectify slight contract errors -- such as omission of a clause, correct dates and legal entities
- Must have clear communication skills both oral and written.
- Experience with reviewing contract files for accuracy.
- Display ability to multi task and handle high volumes of contract requests.
- Communicate with customers, vendors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
- Degree required
- Must be proficient in Livelink, SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
- 3 to 6 years of relevant contract administrative work experience, preferably within procurement
- Demonstrated experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Document Management System experience, such as Livelink or Sharepoint
