Job description:
Manage/supervise industrial plant with over 200 employees manufacturing ASME pressure vessels/heat transfer equipment/API storage systems
Review data sheets (pre order)/engineering drawings (post order) to look at manufacturability/ scheduling of the equipment with regard to available resources
Develop and maintain ASME Code compliant manufacturing procedures
Plan the manufacturing sequence of complex equipments
Carry out scheduling and plant loading to assure compliance with delivery requirements
Improve production operations and develop new tooling/processes
Work with design engineering to review products for potential cost savings and quality improvements
Analyze processes to reduce scrap and improve quality
Estimate cost savings/required investments for manufacturing upgrades
Resolve supplier quality or process issues
Provide support to maintain company compliance with federal and local safety, environmental and personnel regulations

Qualifications:
Firm understanding of ASME Code Manufacturing/Quality system is essential
Strong background in pressure vessel/heat exchanger manufacturing
Proficiency at managing skilled labor
Analytical skills enabling management of multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of metal forming (cutting/rolling/pressing), welding, machining and assembly

BS Degree in Engineering
5+ years experience in Engineering
5+ years experience in Manufacturing
Proficient in EXCEL and planning tools like PRIMAVERA or MS PROJECT
Bilingual Spanish/English
