Role
- Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of the specific Project Controls governance, processes and procedures.
- Provide day to day support for Project Managers, Area Managers, and any associated management teams.
- To support the Programme and Project Management in producing and maintaining the project governance documentation.
- Establish and maintain Commercial controls, Baseline and Change management processes and procedures.
- Reporting on budgets, performance, and forecasting.
- Maintaining cost and schedule models.
- Responsibility for Owner’s Team Progress Measurement and Reporting.
- Creating and maintaining the Project Risk Register.
- Responsibility for Risk Management function.
- Manage Development of Project’s capital cost estimates, budgets and forecast at completion including establishment of contingency and other applicable allowances.
Essential requirements
- At least 10 years operational and capital project experience on large capital projects (Capex in excess of $500M) in Minerals Processing in both brownfield and greenfield environment.
- At least 5 years of extensive experience in a Project Controls Management position on major projects including at least 3 years with Tier 1 EPCM contractors on a major minerals projects
