We currently seek a high caliber Project Controls Specialist III - Scheduler for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Long Beach, CA.

Job Requirements: Responsible for performing highly complex Construction Planning & Scheduling activities for a project. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develops and implements total Construction Planning program on projects starting in the home office
• Develops and implements the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures to ensure that data are converted correctly from the original estimate to the Project schedules
• Develops totally integrated EPC schedules including planning and execution to Level 3 and maintains Management, Project and control level schedules
• Identifies schedule deviations, analyzes variances in schedule performance against the plan, and communicates the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project/Site Management
• Maintains the established project schedule program and prepares schedule status reports
• Develops and implements a basic change management system for construction schedules
• Develops scheduling procedures and execution plan for a project
• Participates in weekly project schedule review meetings
• Supports the project team, department, and client representatives.
• Provides meaningful, accurate historical data
• Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Accredited four (4) year degree Construction Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work
