The role will see you play a pivotal role in leading the execution of transmission and distribution projects throughout the country.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Electrical Engineers, Project Managers, and Construction Specialists.
This leadership position involves overseeing project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transmission and distribution projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Proactively address challenges and implement solutions.
- Uphold commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure team members reach their full potential.
- Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental policies. Promote a safety-first culture on-site.
- Oversee project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control measures. Ensure financial objectives are met while maintaining project quality.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale transmission and distribution projects, preferably in the energy sector.
