Key Responsibilities
- Manage HV and MV electrical projects from design through to commissioning and handover
- Support development of project scope, programmes, budgets, and risk assessments
- Coordinate internal teams, contractors, DNOs/IDNOs, ICPs, and other stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards Review and approve HV/MV designs, calculations, protection settings, and drawings
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. ENA, IEC, BS, HSG, Electricity at Work Regulations)
- Oversee installation of substations, switchgear, transformers, cables, and associated equipment
- Act as a technical point of contact for clients and external partners
- Attend project meetings and provide clear progress and technical updates
- Support client handover, documentation, and close-out activities
- Proven experience delivering HV and/or MV electrical projects
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution networks (11kV–132kV or similar)
- Experience working with DNOs, ICPs, utilities, or private networks
- Knowledge of UK electrical standards and safety legislation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Previous Authorised Person or Senior Authorised Person experience
- Experience in renewables, EV infrastructure, data centres, or large infrastructure projects
- Design capability or coordination experience
- Commercial awareness and contract management exposure
- Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
