Project Governance Lead (PMO Lead)

PMO Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute PMO strategy aligned with business priorities and sustainability goals.

Lead and mentor a team of project managers and coordinators.

Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies, tools, and reporting.

Project Lifecycle Management

Review project lifecycles and deliverables to ensure timing, quality, and stakeholder expectations are met.

Support risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes.

Implement standardized templates, processes, and procedures across projects.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and validate management system resources.

Provide transparent reporting to senior leadership on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.

Act as a liaison between project teams, business units, and executive leadership.

Support Functions

Assist other business functions in developing documentation and governance processes where required.

Ensure alignment of project outcomes with organizational sustainability and energy transition objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in industrial projects, either executing them as a Project Manager or in a PMO role.

• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• PMI designations (e.g., PMP) would be an asset but are not required.

• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with energy industry regulations, sustainability practices, and emerging technologies.
