We are currently recruiting for Senior Project Managers working in the Water sector in Peterborough for a consultancy. These are permanent roles with excellent career development opportunities. The salary would be £50-65,000 with benefits including bonus and car allowance.
As an experienced Project Manager you will handle commissions of varying sizes, depending upon the complexity of the project within the £10m to £25m range.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Advising at a strategic level at the project inception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives.
• Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Developing and agreeing budgets and controlling forecast and actual costs against them
• Identifying and monitoring project risks and planning and implementing risk mitigations
Experience:
• Degree educated in relevant discipline, ideally with Project Management qualifications (APM).
• Proven Project or Contract Management experience in water or utility industry
• Experience managing the NEC form of contract
