Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align schedules with project milestones.
- Monitor progress and provide regular schedule performance reports.
- Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support project managers with planning insights and decision-making tools.
- Lead scheduling efforts across multiple workstreams or large-scale projects.
- Mentor junior schedulers and contribute to planning best practices.
- Interface with senior stakeholders and provide strategic schedule forecasts.
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling systems and reporting tools.
Qualification and Skills Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field or related discipline.
- Proven (8 - 10+ years’ experience in project scheduling, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven track record in managing complex schedules for mining or industrial projects.
- Advanced knowledge of critical path method (CPM) earned value management (EVM), and schedule risk analysis.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
