Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in testing and commissioning HT and LT electrical systems of power plants/cogeneration systems is required.
The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of active and reactive power, as well as load distribution in cogeneration systems.
They should be proficient in testing the protection systems of generators and transformers, including relay coordination from both supply and load sides.
They must also be skilled in testing the insulation resistance and phase sequence of all major electrical equipment within the supply and distribution scheme.
Additionally, they should have adequate knowledge to inspect the system according to the Single Line Diagram (SLD) and assess the system's health to ensure the safe operation of electrical systems.
