We are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead who will be reporting into the Head of Quality. The Lead for Quality Management & Assurance (QMAL) will be responsible for leading Enterprise Intelligence (EI) quality assurance activities and the development, implementation, performance and control of related Alliance contractual deliverables at Scheme and EI levels.
The QMAL will lead creation and maintenance of Alliance Integrated Management System (AIMS) quality assurance processes and procedures.
Working closely with the Digitally Enabled Design (DED) Scheme quality leads and key Alliance stakeholders you will be an experienced and proactive Quality Lead who can oversee technical quality (i.e., adherence to client, regulatory and Alliance requirements), perform administrative functions (i.e., budgeting, forecasting, staffing, etc.), and analyse situations, identify, and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action.
Responsibilities
• Perform administrative activities (i.e., budgeting, scoping, scheduling, etc.) including the appointment and management of EI Lead Auditor(s) and discipline auditors.
• Production and maintenance of AIMS quality assurance (QA) processes and procedures
• Developing, implementing and providing training plan and material on QA processes and procedures
• Support the maintenance of Alliance Quality Contractual Deliverables (e.g Alliance Quality Plan; Audit Programme; Alliance Quality Register, Alliance Quality Management Points Register)
• Monitoring, analysis of and reporting of QA Alliance Quality Performance Indicators
• Develop, implement and maintain a competency matrix for Digitally Enabled Design (DED) scheme quality leads
• Organise and chair Scheme Quality 1-2-1 meetings to be aligned with the Alliance Reporting Drumbeat
• Organise and chair Scheme quality leads meetings
• Support Lessons Learnt and continual improvement activities as required
• Concerning the oversight of the scheme activities:
o Review Scheme Quality Plans (per Scheme throughout the life of the contract)
o Review Scheme Audit Programmes (per Scheme throughout the life of the contract)
o Regular attendance of scheme audits
o Review audit reports from scheme level audits
o Review the Scheme Quality Register
o Review Scheme Quality Management Points Registers
o Review Scheme propose QMPs Implementation Plan (when QMPs > 25)
o Review the Scheme Observation Registers
o Review the Scheme Non-Conformity Registers
o Review the Scheme Corrective Action Report (CAR) Registers
o Review and follow-up the defects that have been identify at scheme level
o Ensure Administering defects in defects register and CEMAR (during initial 6 months after first Defect reported)
o Review the defects register
o Review the plans to correct defects
o Review Scheme LL Registers
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Engineering discipline/technical field, or administration area degree qualified or equivalent experience or a combination of education and directly related experience
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Proven experience from a similar role
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification by UKAS certified agency
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 Series
• Ability to act strategically and tactically, work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management
• Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines
