"TRS is urgently looking for an experienced Requisitioner within the Oil and Gas Industry to join our leading international client's LNG Mozambique project team."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Requisitioner will support the management of multiple activities across the lifecycle of the Purchase Order.
• Includes creating requisitions, amending requisitions, entry of requisitions, requisition reporting, receiving and tracking requisitions, monitoring open requisitions and resolving issues.
• Assist with the submittal of complete and accurate material Purchase Requests; help to train site personnel on submitting accurate requests.
• Expediently resolves requisition issues by speaking directly with the turnaround points of contact and follows up with documenting via email.
• Supports all areas of the group in the creation and management of Material Purchase Requisitions in the procurement system.
• Monitors requisitions in the buyer's area to ensure requisitions are assigned to buyers.
• Performs data entry to close out purchase orders and then maintain accurate records and logs of closed purchase orders
• Ensure part descriptions are accurate and contain adequate logistics requirements and definitions
• Performs continual review over the material inventory database and updates computer records as required.
• Initiates actions to correct parts catalog errors, and documentation errors, and coordinates with receiving and turnaround contacts to ensure accuracy of parts and material descriptions.
• Communicate with supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes
• Expedite material as required.

TERTIARY QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Recognized and accredited degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role – expeditor, requisitioner, buyer, etc.
• Experience in Petrochemical plant environment, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of Applications and SAP.
