Our Partner, a fully integrated energy and chemicals enterprise, has an opening for a Rotating Equipment Maintenance Engineer. This is an exciting direct hire opportunity to work for one of the most profitable companies in the world. This position will be located in the Middle East and will require relocation.

Overview

We are seeking a Rotating Equipment Maintenance Engineer specialized in rotating and reliability engineering to join our Partner’s Producing Department. The organization handles all rotating equipment related issues associated with gas producing facilities including Gas Compression Plants. The Engineer is expected to lead, monitor the efforts in troubleshooting and determining the root causes of failures for several types of rotating equipment such as gas compressors, air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, etc. Also, to participate in rotating equipment selection, design, installation, and commissioning. The Engineer will have full knowledge and experience in analyzing and diagnosing machinery vibration. In addition, should have knowledge in maintenance reliability programs and practices such as predictive and proactive maintenance, bad actor, preventive maintenance optimization, lubrication monitoring program, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to operations and maintenance to troubleshoot rotating equipment related issues.
• Develop, evaluate and review rotating equipment engineering design for reliability enhancements and required modifications/upgrades.
• Perform technical evaluation for new rotating equipment and participate in field installation, and commissioning activities.
• Lead rotating equipment failures/trips investigation and produce the associated reports.
• Develop and maintain the reliability reports for rotating equipment.
• Review the equipment historical data and conduct reliability studies.
• Maintain maintenance and reliability programs such as equipment switching program, lubrication monitoring program, key performance indicators under maintenance intelligence reporting dashboard as well as maintaining failure reporting analysis system (FRACAS).

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, recommended to have Master of Science in Reliability Engineering Degree, and experience in Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) Modeling.
• Must have Fundamental Engineering (FE), and it is recommended to have a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry operating facilities.
• Able to evaluate system efficiency involving rotating equipment and ability to propose and deploy reliability improvement technologies/solutions and reliability programs.
• Are recommended to have Maintenance Reliability Professionals certificate, lubrication analysis MLA-I certificate and Cat-I Vibration Analyst certificate.
• Have the knowledge of international standards and best practices such as API, ASME, ANSI, etc.
• Have a comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in rotating equipment design, maintenance, assessments, studies, investigations, analysis, and optimization, troubleshooting, producing detailed reports and developing sound technical evaluations. Knowledge in rotating equipment shop and field repairs/maintenance.
