Safety Supervisor

Job Description

As a Safety Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring workplace safety and minimizing risks in renewable energy projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Safety Compliance:

   • Monitor workplace activities to identify opportunities for minimizing injuries, accidents, and health issues.
   • Conduct employee training on safety standards and regulations.
   • Perform safety inspections and audits to assess compliance.

2. Health and Safety Planning:

   • Develop and execute health and safety plans according to legal guidelines.
   • Establish policies to foster a culture of health and safety.
   • Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk.

3. Emergency Preparedness:

   • Collaborate with management to create an Emergency Action Plan.
   • Serve as the primary contact for injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
   • Investigate accidents or incidents to determine causes and handle workers’ compensation claims.
   • Report on health and safety awareness and statistics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
