Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in beautiful Kitimat, British Columbia as a Scaffold Supervisor! You would be at work within a growing EPCM firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal. This opportunity boasts longevity, a great work-life balance rotation of 14/7, and excellent accommodations.
In this very exciting role, the qualified individual will report into the Tools and Equipment Manager, and they will oversee all aspects of scaffold material contractor, they will play an active role in the development of safety culture, and ensure contractor compliance to safe operations of scaffold yard and material packaging and delivery.
Job duties:
- Oversee the contractor’s daily safe operations ensuring compliance to site rules policies and procedures.
- Maintain, monitor and track inventory levels of scaffold across site.
- Work with Construction Managers to forecast overall scaffold requirements and ensure contractor meets material requirements to and manage any shortfalls.
- Report on scaffold KPIs to Site Equipment Manager and Construction Managers
- Develop procedures for scaffold yard operations for packaging builds, material pickups and deliveries and returns.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of construction experience or coordinator/supervisor experience
- 4+ years of experience at a comparable level of responsibility in projects of similar type.
- Experience with Peri Scaffold Systems and Peri Path software.
- 3+ years of experience in budget tracking, forecasting and scheduling using excel or other methods.
