Senior Estimator

The Opportunity

Our client, an industry leader in the Construction sector is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team in Toronto, ON. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their careers within the General Contracting industry. The desired candidate will have direct experience in the process of bids and estimation within civil works projects of Light Rail, Roads, Bridges, Tunnels and Highways.

As a Senior Estimator, you will have strong experience in RFP, RFQ process including:
• Coordinate and read drawings with applicable comments; estimates and design options
• Develop work breakdown structure (WBS); pricing, project scheduling and cost estimates
• Create and manage procurement packages; quotes, negotiation and vendor pricing
• Strong knowledge of RFI process, submittal and execution

Qualifications
• Minimum of 15-20 years of relevant experience within transportation construction projects
• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent with experience; P.Eng is desired
• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
