TRS is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (trade finance) for a shipyard client in Saudi Arabia.

The role:
The Senior Financial Analyst will focus on growing financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends. As well as being able to develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting in order to create recommendations to be presented to management and executives. It is also important to conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis. Reconciling existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data is a key function a senior financial analyst should be able to practice. Also, maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends.

Responsibilities:
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is mentioned in virtually any financial analyst job description; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)

Contribute to new or revise current Treasury policy and procedures as required by the business while operating within the company’s policy

• Banking policy reconciliation as per required
• Data Analysis and Presentation as required

• Ensures business queries are resolved and responded to in a timely manner

The impact is across JV Partners, JV Board, JV C suite, Business functions, Government Authorities, Government Auditors, JV Partner Auditors, JV Clients and JV Supply chain

Requirements:
Bachelors in Business, preferred Master’s degree in Banking, Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
12 - 14 years’ work experience in treasury/cash management or banking field preferred.
Professional Qualification in Banking, Insurance or Risk, Treasury. ACII, FCII, FRM, CTP, CFA.
Finance reconciliation experience.
Customer focus; Identifying and Anticipating Customer Needs.
Shares best practice knowledge with others in work team; identifies ways in which the customer experience could be enhanced.
Actively participates in meetings by providing input, expressing opinions, and offering solutions; ensures that others have an opportunity to voice their thoughts.
Works in an open and dependable manner with team members; assumes individual contributor or manager role as needed.
Building/Maintaining Relationships and Fostering Cooperation.
Fluent in Arabic & English.
