Client is looking for a Senior/Lead Electrical Designer
Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, Chemicals plants
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:

KSA‑based candidates highly considered
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum10–15+ years’ experience
- Proficiency is preparing design drawings using AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation software
- Hands-on experience on working with Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals plants and electrical substation projects.
- Have work experience on projects during FEED development and Detailed design EPC execution stage
- Previously worked on minimum 5 projects of considerable size within Saudi Arabia and preferably
- Have knowledge and interpretation of international standards such as IEEE, IEC, NFPA 70 and shall be conversant with electrical clearance and working knowledge on selection of electrical equipment rating.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical single line and three-line diagrams, Control, Protection & Metering one-line diagrams,
- Shall be able to read and understand switchgear scheme drawings.
- Prepare substation layout such as cable routing, cable tray, lighting design calculation and layouts, Substation layouts, Earthing layouts, Lightning layouts,
- Have proficiency in preparing Material Take-offs of major electrical items and Bulk items, shall have thorough knowledge in making the assumptions in preparing the Bill of Materials (BOM) of electrical items.
- Prepare Cable schedule and estimate the cable quantities.
- Perform with cross functional discipline interface during design development phases
- Have experience in checking the AutoCAD/MicroStation drawings prepared by others as Squad/Quality checks.
