Client is looking for a Senior / Lead Process Designer
Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, Chemicals plants
Location: Al-Khobar and Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- KSA‑based candidates highly considered
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering / Drafting / Design
- Minimum10–15+ years experience
- Strong command of P&ID development best practices
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Smart Plant / MicroStation tools
- Thorough understanding of process symbols, controls, and interfaces
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary FEED teams
- High attention to detail and document control discipline
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, UFDs, and Schematics
- Incorporate process design inputs accurately into drawings
- Ensure drawing consistency across disciplines
- Apply correct tagging, line numbering, control symbols, and legends
- Reflect accurate control loops, interlocks, trips, and safeguarding devices
- Support P&ID reviews and ensure timely incorporation of comments
- Work with 2D model environments (Smart Plant, MicroStation, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Coordinate with piping, instrumentation, and layout teams
