Senior Procurement Manager

A leading engineering, procurement and construction company are looking for two Senior Procurement Managers to work on a Major Highways/Infrastructure project. The location will be Birmingham however there may be some flexibility surrounding this.

As a Senior Procurement professional your role will be to set up a strategic frameworks for the project to be used by the schemes. Once this is in place the framework will need to be monitored and maintained. The project is a long term scheme upgrading the UK motorways and these roles will be initially be 6-9 months contracts to set up the frameworks. The contracts may be longer term but currently this is undetermined.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience

It is essential that you have worked in a Procurement role on a Highways Infrastructure project previously preferably motorway.

It is desirable that you have Public Sector Procurement (OJEU) experience

The location of the project will be Birmingham however flexibility will be considered including remote working and also working from the contractors site which is located near Surrey.
