Our esteemed client is a leader in providing pre-construction, construction management services, and design-building services for industrial and commercial projects.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000/year.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze bids, award contracts, and manage subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and team members.
- Oversee project closeout, evaluate outcomes, and document lessons learned.
- Develop and update project schedules, ensuring resource allocation and stakeholder communication.
- Lead project planning and execution.
- Provide comprehensive project reporting, including status updates, cost forecasts, and safety reports.
- Coordinate and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Review project plans for design, scheduling, cost-saving measures, and potential issues.
- Oversee project performance: schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
- Prepare and issue customized project tender packages.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, especially commercial/industrial projects.
- Experience managing large projects up to $50M.
- Proven ability to manage timelines and budgets to meet project goals.
- Skilled in developing detailed project plans using various project management tools.
- Successful team building and maintaining effective relationships with leadership, clients, and consultants.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
- Effective communicator at all organizational levels.
- Experience in process redesign, mapping, and documentation.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); MS Project, Newforma, Bluebeam, Timberscan.
