TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Superintendent role to work on large residential projects in the downtown Vancouver area.
The Superintendent is accountable for overseeing overall on-site construction, ensuring safety, adhering to project commitments in planning, schedule, and design.
Collaborates with project management to meet budget and schedule obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mentoring staff, monitoring sub-trades, fostering a performance-oriented culture, and coordinating with various project stakeholders.
- Manages Junior Superintendents, materials, and equipment, assists in planning work schedules, and ensures compliance with construction specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Possesses advanced knowledge of construction practices, familiarity with Project Controls, Work Face Planning, and quality control processes.
- Technical skills include coordinating offsite activities, supervising sub-contractors, organizing meetings, creating project schedules, and proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam. Requires a Technical Trades certification with 10-15 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in commercial and residential construction, particularly in concrete.
