Client is looking for a Senior Technical Professional Piping
Project Type: Oil & gas, Petrochemical, Chemicals plants
Location: Al-Khobar and Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- KSA‑based candidates highly considered
- 15 years’ experience
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
- Must have extensive experience in the oil / gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as a specialist in a specific engineering field on large to mega projects.
- knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- provide and support engineering activities to Conceptual / FEED / Detailed Design projects.
- Planning and scheduling of discipline deliverables and activities including man-hour estimation when requested, requesting personnel as identified by the plan, and supervision of discipline personnel on the project/ Projects.
- Deep knowledge of relevant international codes and standards i.e. ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 and Industrial practices and regulations
- Capability to interpret Project standards, specifications, analyze exceptions when put up by vendors/contractors and to provide technical and engineering support to piping issues.
- Comprehensive and in- depth knowledge is essential for handling of all the activities related to development / review of piping engineering deliverables during basic and detailed engineering phases of major projects.
- Experience in preparation of Plot plan/Plant layout, Equipment layout/unit plot plan, Piping General Arrangement Drawings, Piping material specifications.
