Senior Turnaround Planner

We currently seek a Senior Turnaround Planning Engineer to work on a multi billion pound oil and gas Project. This opportunity is with a leading organisation within the Energy & Chemicals industries on one of the largest projects in the industry.

This is a contract role paying excellent rates based in Woking.

You will have knowledge of the following:
Analyse project TAR requirements and prepare a project master schedule which integrates strategies and constraints for the Shutdown phase.
Can be responsible for schedules of a project and supervises preparation of specific deliverables.
Monitor and report progress against schedules using required elements of the integrated project control system
Prepare detailed logic diagrams as a basis for detailed level schedule reporting issues detailed activity schedules
Monitor progress against schedules, analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions.
Prepare manpower loading and work breakdown structure.
Prepare project reporting for engineers, schedule risk analysis, progress and corrective actions and critical path analysis.
Prepare and maintain progress curves for each project phase in accordance with the Project Control Plan, including baseline and forecast curves.
Co-ordinate in conjunction with discipline engineers, a document level progress measurement system and operate the performance measurement systems.
In conjunction with the projects material control group, prepare and maintain, a requisition tracking system that meets the requirements of the Project Control Plan.
Prepare and make presentations to project teams and client on schedule control methodologies and procedures used by the company.

You must have experience of:
Exposure to TAR Shutdown Planning, Consultancy, FEED/ Detailed Design and EPC projects.
Knowledge of Project execution and how to plan various activities for FEED and Detailed Design.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
Good knowledge and experience using Primavera P6 and Excel.
Activity Scheduling and discipline work priorities
Good Communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working for major EPCs such as Bechtel, KBR, Worley Parsons, Fluor, Foster Wheeler etc.
