Overview:
The Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer
relationships in a specified state territory. In this role, the Service Engineer will use their technical and product/service knowledge to provide frequent and ongoing on-site support to customers to ensure equipment is running efficiently and to maintain and foster customer relationships. This role will also work closely with the sales teams to provide solutions and ongoing support to new customers and accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing efficient, routine, on-site customer support.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded customer management professional to drive growth and success in a dynamic and exciting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage customer accounts, including developing and maintaining strong relationships,
addressing customer concerns and issues, and managing customer expectations
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment issues and customer service
requests for customers via phone, email and on-site visits
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and provide exceptional customer service, including training on equipment operation and maintenance
Maintain and strengthen relationships with customer portfolio
• Collaborate with the sales teams to identify and implement equipment upgrades and improvements as needed
• Keep and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, performance information, and equipment repair/maintenance data
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Analyze customer needs and recommend solutions to improve equipment performance
• Identify and implement product or service applications tailored to a specific customers needs to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction
• Create and maintain technical documents and manuals
• Coordinate with sales engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient
• resolution of customer issues
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including site-specific safety trainings and requirements
• Continuously monitor customer satisfaction and take action to address any concerns
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in the steam-water cycle industry, preferably in account management or sales
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as control systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a high level of initiative
• Ability to work independently and successfully within a team environment
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and
partners
• Willingness to travel
• Valid driver's license
• Candidate will need a working vehicle for local travel
Essentials:
• Technical-based and/or experienced in the industry, self-starter/extremely high
initiative, constantly striving for process and strategy improvements, high computer proficiency, good organization skills, relationship driven
