We are currently seeking a high caliber Site Logistics Coordinator within our client’s team of experienced professionals. This is a CONTRACT TO HIRE position based in Northeast Texas.


SUMMARY

The Site Logistics will coordinate with the Logistics and Sales Operations departments to ensure timely delivery of our products. This position is expected to travel between multiple sites within Cooke & Fannin Counties.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that goods are shipped in the most timely and efficient manner according to documented processes, including planning the transportation route and payload, selecting the mode of transportation, and tracking the shipment from pick up through delivery; all the while targeting cost reduction, freight savings, service and adhering to contractual requirements

• Continuous tracking and tracing of all inbound/outbound shipments, including the daily organizing and saving of commercial shipping documents onto our database

• Update import shipping dashboard on a daily basis

• Allocate inbound shipments on Master Allocation for order fulfillment

• Allocate production forecasts on Master Allocation, based on GOC schedules, on a weekly basis

• Update daily inventory tracking spreadsheet, including SIP, damaged inventory, etc.

• Update inbound receipts on purchase reconciliation report, including entering GR transactions on SAP

• Track/approve spot distribution rates

• Reconcile stock-taking reports & create inventory reconciliation reports, including consignment, in-transit inventory, etc., on a monthly basis

• Manage physical inventory audits on a quarterly basis

• Generate damage claim reports as needed

• Create utility project delivery schedules as needed

• Maintain efficient interaction between third party logistic company and customers, enduring the highest levels of customer service

• Assist in the development of sustainable, cost-effective solutions that leverage inbound and outbound shipment

• Assist in the creation and implementation of logistic strategies that include contingency plans to support varying levels of company sales and changes to supply/demand patterns, including market/capacity driven price fluctuations

• Adhere to existing logistics processes and apply both industry and organizational best practices;

• Resolve daily logistics issues, as needed



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, required

• 5-10 years of experience or equivalent in transportation and/or supply chain required

• Knowledge of transportation operational terms and best practices

• Must be able to communicate effectively with various types of shipping, transportation, and logistics agents to identify and resolve product shipping and logistics issues

• Bilingual in English/Spanish, a plus

• Solar Experience highly preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly present and explain complex information

• Critical and strategic thinking skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and activities

• Strong interpersonal, implementation, and facilitation skills
