Software Test Developer

We are recruiting a Tester software developer for an important client

Duties

• Participating in project concept meetings to determine test requirements
• Designing and automating functional, performance and other tests
• Exploratory testing for individual components or features
• Extending test management and reporting tools for effective feedback
• Communicating and summarizing status to the project team
• Performing other duties as required


Education and work experience

• Dedication to software test as a craft
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• University degree or technical diploma in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years' experience with software testing
• Demonstrated experience with at least some of the following technologies:
o Scripting languages (python)
o Open source testing tools such as RobotFramework, Sikuli
o Continuous integration systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins/Hudson
o Web and Javascript testing and tools, Selenium, Jasmine
o API and SDK testing
o Experience with UI and usability testing
o Desktop environments on Windows, Mac
