On behalf of our client, a leading Refinery operator in the Middle East, we are currently recruiting for a Static Equipment Maintenance Engineet as a support function to their mult billion dollar project
Position Overview:
The successful incumbent will be based within the maintenance division support team that would provide support to the EPC and post EPC phases of the project. The Senior Engineer will be a key part of the project team functioning as the maintenance subject matter expert in full time liaison with the IPMT site based maintenance staff.
Main responsibilities include the following:
Reviewing, commenting and updating site produced drawings, standards, specifications and other technical data to ensure contractually time bound response without incurring delays
Answering technical queries from site for the purposes of expediting the design
Providing historical maintenance and reliability data to site upon request
Support static equipment EPC deliverables
Coordination with site based maintenance disciplines
Candidate Profile:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience especially in oil refinery/petrochemical projects
Strong communication, reporting and presentation skills
Ability to evaluate, prioritize and organize delegated work schedules
Should have comprehensive knowledge of static equipment deliverables preparation during EPC as well as planning of activities related to static equipment; proficient understanding of P&IDs and Piping / Instrumentation inline items required
